Professional Availability

I am an all round musician, concert pianist, composer, performer, teacher and someone who enjoys life and music in all it's complex and imaginative ways. Having  been a professional high school Director of Music and Expressive Arts for 21 years, I have a full enhanced DBS check. 

I am available to teach Classical, Rock and Jazz Piano, Clarinet and Music Theory, all up to Grade 8 ABRSM/Trinity and Guildhall. Also available for GCSE and A level Music tuition.  

I compose music in various different styles and formats including a recent new musical, a DVD documentary, choral music and prog rock, piano music and arrangements.

I am currently working on a new song cycle and piano pieces which will be uploaded soon alongside my own videos and stills to accompany them.

Biography

Born in 1972 and started piano in 1976 at the tender age of 4. By 15 Vicky had passed Grade 8 ABRSM piano and won the Chelmsford Piano competition (Open category). In 1994 she received her BA Mus(Hons) and went straight on to complete a PGCE in 11-18 Music. Went on to become a Head of Music during her first few months of teaching and has since been a Director of Expressive Arts over the last 12 years.  During her career so far, Vicky has had the opportunity to perform at some amazing venues, including Snape Maltings concert hall in Suffolk, the Royal Albert Hall in London and Chelmsford Cathedral, among others.
